Ganesh Haloi

MUKUND LATH is a thinker, scholar and cultural historian who has worked and written on various aspects of Indian music, theatre, dance and aesthetics, as well as history and philosophy. His work aims at an independent and inclusive approach assimilating disciplines and aspects into a single vision.

In 2000 he was awarded the Shankar Puraskar for his Sangeet evam Chintan, a work awarded again in 2003 by the Madhya Pradesh Rashtrabhasha Prachar Samiti with the Naresh Mehta Vangmaya Puraskar, In 2008, the Sangeet Natak Akademi awarded Lath for his scholarship on sangeet. In 2010 he was awarded a Padmashree by the Government of India for his contribution to the field of Art. In 2011 he was awarded the Sangeet Natak Akademi Fellowship.


JESAL TRACKER is an artist by training but scholarship in art is what she chose to pursue. In 2005, she set up Bodhana, a non-profit organisation that would fulfill her vision of researching and publishing books on Indian art. She has a fine series ofbooks, the most recent one being Vasudeo Santa Gaitonde: Sonata of Solitude. She has also curated some important exhibitions with artists such as Shankar Palshikar, Prabhakar Barwe, Prabhakar Kolte et al. In 2011 she assisted Ranjit Hoskote for the first India Pavilion participation in the 54th Venice Biennale and recently assisted curator Bose Krishnamachari for the Yinchuan Biennale 2016. Apart from curating shows, researching and pursuing Bodhana's vision, Jesal is also well known as a specialist art consultant in Modern and Contemporary Indian Art.


NATASHA. GINWALA. is a curator, researcher, and writer. She is curator of Contour Biennale 8 and curatorial advisor for documenta 14 (2017). Her recent projects include "My East is Your West" featuring Shilpa Gupta and Rashid Rana at the 56s' Venice Biennale; "Still Against the Sky" at KW Institute for Contemporary Art; and "Corruption: Everybody Knows,.." with e-flux, New York within the framework of the SUPE RCOMIVIUNITY project. Ginwala was a member of the artistic team for the 8th Berlin Biennale for Contemporary Art (with Juan A. Gaitan) and has curated The Museum of Rhythm at Taipei Biennial 2012 (with Anselm Franke) and at Muzeum Sztuki (with Daniel Muzyczuk), From 2013-15 she led the multi-part project "Landings" presented at the Witte de With Center for Contemporary Art, David Roberts Art Foundation, NGBK, the Stedelijk Museum, and other partner organizations (with Vivian Ziherl). Ginwala writes on contemporary art and visual culture in various periodicals and numerous publications.
